Malaga Sightings

Malaga Sightings is a new initiative by the Axarquia Birder, Bob Wright, to enable birders to record the birds they see in the area and, at the same, time inform others of what is being seen.  This is a FREE service and, obviously, its success will very much depend upon the pro-active nature of our local birders.

Hopefully, with time, the sight may develop and become a very useful tool, not only to local birders residing in this southern part of Spain in the region of Andalucia but to those very many visitors who come to our area to undertake their birding activities, at what ever level.  The site is NOT intended as a "Rarities" forum; rather it is intended to give a feel of what birds are about ant any one time at the various sites in this part of Spain.  The author is most conscious that most birders are not "experts"; rather they go about their birding lives, gradually gaining in experience, and might appreciate some prior knowledge of what birds might be seen.

At the present time, Malaga Sightings is being hosted on the Axarqia Birder website and clicking HERE or on the website address below will take you straight to the site.  Whilst on the site, do take the time to peruse all/some of the other pages, including the extensive Photo Album, and feel free to pass on your comments.  I am always interested in positive criticism as a way of improving the site and its content.
